GOOT – a miracle garlic remedy

GOOT – or Garlic Oil Ointment Treatment is my newest favorite miracle remedy! I am new to using it, but I’ve loved it so much I wanted to share. I’m sure I’ll be updating this post as time goes on with all the many uses.

It’s not secret that Garlic is one of ages oldest natural remedies. It is anti-microbial and anti-viral, making it natures greatest “anti-biotic”. It is able to kill bad bacteria and infection without destroying your bodys healthy flora. Also – it tastes delicious!

I’ve read the many uses of GOOT, but because I haven’t experienced them I’m not sure yet from personal experience if it works. Many tout it’s benefits for anything from ear infections, any bacteria infection, viral infections like RSV, and the common cold or flu.

We have used it successfully to eradicate the FLU. Aka the worst thing ever. After trying everything for days with not much improvement, to seeing the GOOT work its magic within 24 hours…. I am very optimistic about my future love affair with this healing salve.

Here’s how you do it:

  • 12 cloves of raw garlic (peeled/skinned)
  • 1/4 c unrefined coconut oil
  • 1/4 c olive oil

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until completely combined. It will have a “milky” consistency.
  2. Pour into a small glass jar and refrigerate to help solidify.
  3. Stays good in the fridge for a month.

How to use it:

We rubbed the GOOT all over our feet (tops/bottoms) and on our chest. I did this for my toddler as well! Do this 3-5x a day depending on the severity of the infection.

We saw improvements in our cough and flu symptoms within 12 hours!

Good luck, I hope you love this one!

    • I haven’t tried it! The only thing about Garlic is that because it is anti-microbial, over-use of it can affect the natural balance of bacteria in your body. I would say you can just use it normally in cooking as a preventative measure, but I wouldn’t use the garlic oil on your body or take excess amounts for long periods of time or unless you’re sick 🙂 Hope that helps!
